Physical Therapy Referrals

Profession physical therapy for pets is a rehabilitative treatment that helps improve mobility, strength, and overall function—most commonly after spinal surgery, but also for other neurological injuries or chronic conditions. Physical therapy, both professionally and at-home, plays a vital role in maximizing your pet’s walking ability. Professional physical therapy may include customized exercises, therapeutic laser treatments, underwater treadmill sessions, and other therapies tailored to each pet’s specific needs and condition. Treatment plans are developed and guided by the physical therapist.

Our neurologists will let you know if physical therapy may benefit your pet. While Neuro Vet does not offer physical therapy, we’ve compiled a list of recommended veterinary physical therapists in the San Francisco Bay Area that we have worked with and trust. These are listed in order of proximity to our clinic.
